Pacific Wave Digital
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Local Language Lab is operated by Pacific Wave Digital in Vanuatu, with partner operations in Ghana. This policy explains the information we handle when a business creates an assistant or a customer speaks with one.
Business account information
We store the account holder's email, profile details, assistant settings, business knowledge, approved website origins and service usage. This information is used to operate and secure the account, deliver the service and provide support.
Customer calls and consent
Before a customer starts an AI call, the call screen asks for consent to transcription. When consent is given, the conversation transcript, call duration and search count may be shared with the business operating that assistant. Audio is processed live and is not intentionally retained by Local Language Lab after the call.
Call transcripts are retained for up to 90 days unless the business deletes them sooner. Businesses must give their customers any additional notice required in the places where they operate and should not ask customers to share passwords, payment-card details or highly sensitive information.
AI and infrastructure providers
We use contracted service providers—including Supabase, Vercel, Fly.io, Anthropic, OpenAI and Anam—to host the service and process requests. Information is sent only as needed to provide the relevant feature, over encrypted connections, and is subject to each provider's applicable business terms.
Business knowledge and website imports
Information a business adds to an assistant is stored separately by assistant and used to answer that business's customers. Website imports are limited to public web pages. Do not upload confidential material unless it is appropriate for the assistant to use in customer conversations.
Security and sharing
We use access controls, encrypted transport and tenant separation to protect customer data. We do not sell personal information or use call transcripts for advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or to investigate abuse and protect the service.
Your choices
Business account holders can delete individual call transcripts in the console and can request export, correction or account deletion. Callers can decline transcription and choose not to start the call. For a privacy request, email steve@pacificwavedigital.com. We aim to respond within 14 days.
Age and changes
The service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We will update the date above when this policy materially changes.
